Tai Chi for Arthritis (Beginners)

This program, created by a medical doctor and a staff of rheumatologists, is aimed at adults with or without arthritis that have no experience doing Tai Chi. It is better than walking or swimming for fall prevention and is recommended by the CDC. A growing number of evidence based studies demonstrate a wide variety of physical and emotional benefits with regular Tai Chi practice. It is appropriate for all physical conditions and can be done in a chair. Classes include warmups, stretching, breath work, body alignment and building a simple sequence of relaxing movements.
